‘The Fall’ season 3 spoilers: The world explodes for Jamie Dornan’s Paul Spector
Now that we know that “The Fall” is premiering on BBC Two on Thursday, September 29th, we’re certainly pleased to be getting a fairly-constant stream of scoop regarding what is going to be coming up in the episodes ahead. It has been a long wait to know the fate of Paul Spector.
For example, the season premiere is going to revolve around Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) and the moral struggle that she faces following the shooting of Paul (Jamie Dornan). She wants him to be locked away for the remainder of his life in prison; yet, she doesn’t want him to die.
We’re not going to spoil for you the character’s fate in this article, mostly because that’s no fun and we’d hate for you to watch the show knowing everything that is going to be coming up. Yet, at the same time we’ll at least give you this as a small teaser for what’s coming: By the end of the second episode, Paul’s family is going to have to deal with the consequences of his name being out there in the public. This is no longer something that is simmering in secret anymore, and it will prove interesting seeing how it exactly pans out.
One other question that you do have to ponder is this: If Spector is able to actually stand trial in this series, is there going to be enough evidence to properly convict him? In the midst of all of the fascinating stop-a-killer stories that are out there, this is not something that is always explored. Therefore, we’re rather thrilled to be getting more of an investigation into it here.
