‘Fuller House’ season 2 spoilers: Meet the new Nelson Burkhard
You may have heard already that Netflix’s “Fuller House” is doing a little bit of recasting for some roles for their upcoming second season, and there are some pretty good reasons for it. After all, you just cannot expect every person who was a part of the original “Full House” to be available or interested in returning for roles decades later.
For one prime example, take a look at this new report! According to TVLine, Hal Sparks is going to take on the role of Nelson Burkhard, a character certainly with a past connection to DJ Tanner in the original show. Jason Marsden first played the role, but announced previously that he made the decision to not take part in the revival.
We are going to see the Nelson character at a high school reunion, which should be exciting given that this marks an opportunity to see many of these characters back in familiar settings and to see how much many of them have changed. In this particular case, don’t expect the Nelson of 2016 to be altogether different from the one you first saw on the show some time ago.
In the end, of course it’s always nice to see the original actors reprise their roles. Yet, at the same time it is fun that we’re hoping to see more so than anything else, and we have a pretty good feeling that we will be seeing that in spades when the second is available for streaming. We’ll have some further news soon!
