‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: A tale of two Obsidians
Moving into the second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” on The CW, all indications are that one of the most interesting components of it is going to be getting the meet the Justice Society of America. This organization could end up playing a rather significant role in the story for our Legends, even if we are still waiting to figure out precisely how they will get along with our heroes … or if they will at all.
What we can tell you now is that for one of their members, things are going to be even more complicated than they at first seemed. Remember Obsidian? We first learned some time ago that Lance Henriksen was going to be playing the part. Now, we’re learning that he is not alone in that effort!
According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, Dan Payne is actually going to be playing the character the first time that the Legends meet him. Eventually, Henriksen is going to take over the part, and will be a future version of the character. What that ultimately mean remains to be seen, but we don’t think anyone is going to be that shocked at the notion of a character aging on this show.
Some other members of the JSA include Stargirl and also Commander Steel. Meanwhile, we know already that our heroes for this season will be facing off against a unified threat in the Legion of Doom.
