‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2: The Legion of Doom (or at least part of them) goes back in time
Based on what we’re seeing right now, the second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” looks to be — at least briefly — taking a page from the “Miami Vice” playbook for the upcoming second season.
In the post below from his official Instagram, you can see Matt Letscher (a.k.a. Eobard Thawne) alongside Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk) and what appears to be a rather era-appropriate car. This is certainly a fun era for fashion, so we’ll be stoked if the show plays into the humor and fun of that for an episode episode.
While we do enjoy the visual here, there are still some very clear / obvious questions about what in the world the series has planned for the upcoming second season with the Legion of Doom as a collective Big Bad. (Captain Cold and Malcolm Merlyn will also be involved.) For example, are they going to be time-traveling, and how? Also, are they the same characters from Earth-1 as we’ve seen on “Arrow” and “The Flash,” or are there some different versions adopting this persona and getting out there to fight crime. There are interesting questions aplenty floating around out there, but unfortunately not any that we have any precise answer to at the moment.
The one thing that we can say with some confidence is that we’re going to have some answers soon enough! The new season of “Legends of Tomorrow” premieres early next month on The CW, and we’ll have more information as soon as it comes out.
