‘Homeland’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Nurse Jackie’ alum latest casting
The bad news for all fans of “Homeland” is that the series is not going to be premiering on Showtime until we roll around to next year. That’s certainly a change, given the fact that the first several seasons of the show all came on during the fall.
The good news is that we do have a little bit more to report today when it comes to casting news! According to a new report from Variety, Dominic Fumusa (“Nurse Jackie”) is going to be appearing in an important role as FBI Special Agent Ray Conlin. How important is it? Well, let’s just say that it is critical enough that producers don’t want you to know just about anything related to the part, including how many episodes he could end up being a part of. This is just one of those mysteries that will hopefully be sorted out a little bit more over time once the story unfolds. Given that it is still being written, there is no indication yet as to how long he will be around.
What we do know is that season 6 is going to focus more on matters impacting the country stateside rather than abroad, as it is being filmed in New York City. We can assume that Carrie will start off the season in a decent place, only for things to do downhill from there. After all, doesn’t that seem to be a theme of much of what we see on the show?
