‘Longmire’ season 5 photo: First look at Henry, Jacob Nighthorse

The past few days have certainly been eventful ones for “Longmire.” First things first, the Netflix series released the trailer for the upcoming fifth season, and from there, the next other big order of business was getting a little bit more insight on Walt and Vic back out on the job.

Today, we have the final photo that was released by Netflix late last week, and this one is certainly curious because of the people who are involved: Henry Standing Bear and Jacob Nighthorse. What are these two doing in the same room, and what in the world is Jacob doing with that crowbar? There are many questions, and unfortunately not a whole lot of answers just yet. There’s no guarantee that you will see this scene happen during the premiere, but rest assured it’ll be taking place at some point before the end of the season.

For Henry, much of the story during season 5 is going to come as a result of him taking up the title of Hector, and then also receiving an offer from Mathias to work alongside him. Whether or not Henry takes that remains to be seen, but it could be beneficial to him in the event that he wants to continue to act without as much danger looming over him.

As for Jacob, his season 5 story could pick up with Cady taking the job as legal counsel for his casino, a move that could very easily cause friction with her father. She may see it as helping the tribe to the best of her ability, but he may struggle with it given his own personal history with Nighthorse.
