‘Power’ season 3, episode 8 reaction: Show boss on Ghost’s plan with Milan

PowerThe third season of “Power” is one that is probably going to contain surprises aplenty. In turn, that is probably what is making it compelling to watch. We’re seeing Ghost struggle to find any sort of solid footing, and that was made all the clearer when his business meeting was overtaken and became more about the drug trade.

As a whole, these questions of trust were intentionally put through the entire episode. As a matter of fact, executive producer Courtney Kemp stated in a reaction clip following the installment that it was a theme “that runs through the episode, whether you are talking about Ghost and Angela, Tasha and LaKeisha, Ruiz and Ghost.”

In a way, you can also argue that this current also ran through what was going on with Angela and Greg. Kemp describes the moment where the two kiss as a “very sad thing when you realize that you may not kiss a person again, that’s hard. That’s something that we see in Greg. We talked about whether she should kiss him or he should kiss her, and I strongly felt it should be his advance because [I wanted it to be] him, because it should be him having that complicated moment internally.”

We are definitely excited to see what twists and turns await some of these characters moving forward, but based on the end of the Greg / Angela story tonight, the one thing that feels fairly clear is that she’s in huge trouble, and this may be a conflict that she can get herself out of anytime soon.
