‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 promo offers brief glimpse at Stargirl (video)

The CW has been slowly releasing some promos as of late for their upcoming fall shows, and based on the one that we have below for “Legends of Tomorrow,” it looks like we’re getting a show jam-packed full of a lot of fun.

Was the first season problematic? To us, certainly, and one of the biggest reasons why was that it was a little bit difficult to focus on the concept of having fun when you had something so serious as the threat of Vandal Savage. While we hardly presume that there is going to be gallivanting at the core of season 2, at the same time we do think that the idea this time around frees up the cast and crew to get a little bit more enjoyment out of precisely what it is that they are doing. Let’s just say that there are not a whole lot of examples out there of characters who get to spend the majority of their time going into the past, present, and future.

There are a few different things in this preview we find notable:

1. Sara Lance at one point trying to seduce the Queen of France.

2. The tiniest glimpse of Stargirl, one of the new characters this season and a member of the Justice Society of America, a new organization that will be turning up this season.

3. Getting to see Albert Einstein punched in the face. We’re not sure how accurate the show will always be, but so long as we are continually entertained, we can’t say that we will be particularly demanding, either.
