‘Ray Donovan’ season 4, episode 10 preview: What’s next in ‘Lake Hollywood’

After Sunday night’s new episode of “Ray Donovan,” it feels fairly safe to say that we are moving into the home stretch of the series. There are a few more episodes still to come, and as we go through those, we should have a fairly good understanding regarding how season 4 will wrap up and set the stage for what is next. (The show was already renewed for season 5, so have no fear regarding whether or not we are getting more of the series beyond this.)

“Lake Hollywood” is the title for next week’s new episode, and disaster seems to be the name of the game as Hector finds himself in dire need of help, and Ray has to figure out (with the help of some others) how to work art to his advantage. The short synopsis below via TV Guide offers up a few more clues as to what’s next:

“Facing a crisis involving one of their own, Ray and the team figure a way to use Kovitzsky-gallery art as leverage. Meanwhile, a distraught Hector calls for Ray’s help after his wife decides to move away with their daughter in an effort to get away from the incest scandal.”

Over the course of this story, we imagine that we’ll get some answers — and then also a foundation for how the remainder of the season will go. One thing to always remember here is that while there are often intense action sequences on this show, nothing produces emotions quite like what comes out of the family drama.
