‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 spoilers: Will someone die in summer finale?

Death is certainly something that happens frequently within the world of “Pretty Little Liars.” Therefore, can you really be that shocked that Freeform is teasing something similar happening in the upcoming August 30 summer finale.

This episode is entitled “The DArkest Knight,” which is intentional when it comes to the capitalization. After all, would it really be this show if they didn’t try to exploit the letter A to the best of their ability? The just-released synopsis below gives you a reason to be worried:

“The Liars face off with their enemies in a chaotic fight that ends fatally. One of the PLLs learns a secret about her past that changes everything while another Liar discovers something about her future that could alter her course forever.”

We’re going to go ahead and throw this out there: What if the “secret” turns out to be one of the Liars being the secret child of Mary Drake? We just learned that she had one other than Charles DiLaurentis, and that is something that would definitely add a little bit more spice to the second half of the season (which could be the final stretch of the series).

Based on how this describes the “chaotic fight,” it also feels as though either one of the Liars is going to die at the end of the episode, or that fate is going to befall one of their opponents. We’re not hoping for death in general (that just feels weird), but we’d rather not it be a main character at present.
