‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 8 video: Another sad scene for Stef, Lena

Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” is right around the corner, and over the course of this particular hour we could see several depressing sequences … at least when it comes to Lena and Stef.

At the end of this past episode, the two determined that the best way to get the family out of a rough financial situation was to sell the home. That means that they have a real-estate agent coming in to try to take a look at it, and tell them some of the things that they need to do in order to ensure that their house sells for the most money.

Most of his suggestions are certainly depressing and then some, given that she makes it clear that they should remove most of the photos and virtually everything else that gives the house some sort of personality. That’s a sad thought, but it’s probably true that prospective buyers don’t want to attach their next home with memories from another family.

Of course, we ultimately want to see some sort of situation where Lena and Stef can figure out how to keep the house, whether it be a work promotion or money coming from an unexpected source. We just don’t quite know where that could come from, given that we don’t really see this series as the sort that is going to come out of nowhere with a convenient solution. It likes to remain true-to-life, which is why in turn you do see so many people struggle from time to time.
