‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 11 preview: ‘Girl Meets the Real World’ and good vs. evil
The third season of “Girl Meets World” has a potentially-emotional episode coming up tonight in “Girl Meets I Do,” and in some ways it main be the big event of the entire summer for the show. After all, it appears as though next week the show is settling more back into a familiar rhythm with “Girl Meets the Real World,” a half-hour that doesn’t seem to have a big hook to it. Instead, it may be more about a signature lesson that Riley has to learn.
Want to get some further insight? Then you don’t have to look any further than the attached synopsis:
“Riley has trouble with her debate assignment when she must argue if people are naturally good or evil.”
So basically, we’re not getting a whole lot from that, especially since that is not an easy question to answer no matter who you are. If you think philosophically, most humans have the capacity to do certain degrees of either, and ultimately it comes down to whatever they choose to do with themselves. Typically being good is the more rewarding route, but humans sometimes resort to the latter for a variety of terrible reasons.
If Riley is able to figure out some sort of answer to this question by the end of this episode, she deserves more than just a good grade at school: She deserves some sort of medal for determining an answer to one of humanity’s great problems. There are still some philosophy professors out there debating this very thing.
