‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 10 video: See Mr. Feeny at Shawn – Katy wedding!

Friday night’s new episode of “Girl Meets World” is approaching at a fairly rapid pace, and there is of course one event defining it: The wedding of Shawn Hunter and Maya’s mother Katy! This marks an opportunity to see a different phase of Maya’s life begin, provided of course that everything happens as according to the plan.

In the sneak peek below via “Entertainment Tonight,” you can see the arrival of someone who is very important to the series, especially when it comes to Cory and Topanga in particular: Mr. Feeny! He is serving seemingly as the officiant for the ceremony, and jokes that he is many things to many people.

The funniest part of this clip comes when Auggie claims that Feeny may practically be his grandfather, and that leads to an exchange where he stands up and proclaims it to be so. Feeny doesn’t exactly respond in an expected manner.

Based on the size of the venue here, you can expect that this is going to be a small, relatively-quiet affair, but one that still brings a lot of big moments to the table. For example, is Maya going to be completely accepting of having a new father figure in her life? There was a moment in the promo that made us wonder. One other thing we’re curious about is just how often we’ll see Shawn after this. Rider Strong is not a regular in the series, but at the same time, he does tend to make fairly sporadic appearances.
