‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spoilers: What’s ahead for Nick Viall, Amanda Stanton, Josh Murray

History has an odd way of repeating itself when you are Nick Viall. First, you go through two seasons of being the runner-up on “The Bachelorette.” Then, you go through another instance of having Josh Murray come in and sweep up a woman you thought you were falling for.

While the new “Bachelor in Paradise” tease below doesn’t make it clear that it is Nick, Josh, and Amanda Stanton who are involved in some controversy next week, at the same time it feels pretty darn clear that this is the case. After all, just remember that the three were featured in the video preview for the next episode; we don’t knowing why ABC is even bothering omitting names when they’ve previously made it so abundantly clear:

“The morning after the rose ceremony, a notorious bachelor arrives! Holding a date card, he takes out the bachelorette much to the annoyance of the newcomer’s long-time nemesis. The two bachelors have a heated past, and one of the bachelors is helpless to do anything but watch the couple’s very intense PDA. Will history repeat itself, or will the bachelor vet fight for love?”

Does this mean that the relationship hopes of Nick in Paradise are over? Probably not, since this is a guy who is still going to be popular with other women who show up. He’s known for speaking his mind and being upfront, and that probably is appreciated in an era where some are clearly just there for the sake of establishing some persona. Maybe he’s an appealing suitor; or, maybe he is just to some a person who will get them more TV time. Either way, he’s still got more story to tell.
