‘America’s Got Talent’: Are Hara, ThroWings, and Ryan Stock and AmberLynn wild card candidates?

AGT -America’s Got Talent” is not the sort of show where goodbye necessarily means forever. Just take a look at Steven Brundage, a wild-card act who was brought back after the Judge Cuts round, and now advanced of his own volition all the way to the semifinals. The magician era of this show continues, and we’ve got many talented people already in the next round.

So while we wait for the show to return from an Olympics-themed hiatus, why not spend a minute or two discussing who was left out of the semifinals … and could get a second chance? Given that there was a wild-card act chosen last year for the semifinals, we have to assume that’s happening again here. After all, we’d be left otherwise with 21 acts over two shows, which isn’t exactly great for the sake of fairness.

Right now, we’d argue that there are three candidates who could make it back into the competition.

ThroWings – They are very talented at what they do, and if producers are looking for diversity in terms of types of acts, bringing them back could add some more balance to the competition. Also, they almost made it through over Kadie Lynn Roberson.

Ryan Stock and AmberLynn – Who would’ve ever thought we’d use the words “emotional argument” for an act famous for a guy jamming things into his nose. Yet, here we are! After their unfortunate mishap on the last show, it would be nice to see them at least leave the competition with their heads held high, even if we don’t think they’ve got a real chance of being in the finale.

Hara – To us, he’s the most likely wild-card act right now. The big thing that he needs to work on is making some of his magic a little clearer for viewers at home — the lighting was a little dark last time, and we think that plus him performing early in the show were the reasons he didn’t advance.
