‘Mr. Robot’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Foiled again

“Mr. Robot” tonight was a story of plans and frustrations, of successes and aggravations. It is a story that can be jam-packed full of surprises, but not all of them are always the surprises that someone wants or hopes for. Going into the season, we’re not sure anyone envisioned hacking into the FBI as a great idea, but at the same time, here we are.

So where do we go now, around in circles? To a place where there could be some answers? This is a show that does not like to spell out many things in advance, but we can decipher for you a pair of the teases that did come out of the synopsis for the next new episode.

1. Mr. Robot does his part to show Elliot that he has a further use, and is not just an albatross.

2. Darlene and Angela have a snag in their plan; as for the consequences of said plan, that is what remains to be seen.

For those wondering, “Mr. Robot” is one of the shows not going into hiatus for the Summer Olympics. It only feels appropriate to use this phrase: The revolution will continue as televised. We’ll be back for further coverage of it every step of the way.

One thing that we definitely want some further information on right away when the series returns is Elliot’s condition. It’s fair to assume he is alive, but what happens when his physical state starts to mirror more of his mental one.
