‘Suits’ season 6, episode 5 preview: The troubles ahead in ‘Trust’

Tonight on “Suits,” we saw everything from drama to comedy to surprises galore as Mike Ross fought Harvey tooth-and-nail on the prospect of getting out of jail with a plea deal. Why? He couldn’t bring himself to do what would be required of it. Unfortunately for him, while behind bars he learned just how hazardous jail (and enemies) can be to his health.

Going into next week’s new episode “Trust,” that word will be central to everything that is coming up given that Mike eventually decided to take the deal after some time with Rachel. In turn, he will start to work on Kevin, trying to build the bond that is between the two of them; meanwhile, Harvey at the same time will try to execute one of his schemes. could it be related to the Mike story? We’re certainly thinking it could…

Meanwhile, we are going to see Jessica try to improve the reputation of the firm, which we imagine is still in shambles given everything that has unfolded with them over the course of the past year. Sound interesting? It is mostly going to be because we don’t think anyone is going to let go of what happened with Mike all too quickly.

As for a couple of other teases about next week…

Rachel – She is going to hit in a snag, but of what kind? Could it have to do with her work with the Innocence Project? We shall see.

Louis – He’s clearly interested in architect Tara (read our interview with Carly Pope about the character here), and he will be asking Donna for help. Any Louis / Donna storyline is one we can get behind!
