MTV’s ‘Scream’ season 2, episode 9 reaction: Did the latest death leave any clues?

“Scream” added to its list of season 2 casualties on Tuesday night with an episode that was certainly eventful, and one that also brought forward the latest shocking death of the season. The first women this season was taken out by the killer, and what makes this one a little more interesting is precisely how much she knows about them.

Specifically here, we are talking about Haley. She was not exactly the most likable character on the show, but even if you didn’t find yourself rooting for her, are you really going to argue against her treatment this episode being horrible? After setting up an event and going through all of that trouble, she was killed off after seeing the killer’s face.

Now, was there a whole lot of evidence in here as to who this someone truly was? Not really, given that she never referred to them as a “he” or a “she.” They appear to be taller than her in stature, and gave off the impression that they were a potential love interest of hers at some point. This death is yet another one to add to the tally, and it accentuates some of the chaos and despair that Brooke previously talked about in her drunken speech.

This episode did bring us a few other things, whether it be Emma and Audrey finding themselves in a position where they had to spend time together or learning about the connections between Miss Lang and Piper. Yet of course, we still feel the death will stick with us the longest.
