‘Murder in the First’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Could Hildy move on from Terry?
In many ways, of course we don’t like to think about the idea of Hildy and Terry having to go separate directions on “Murder in the First” so soon after the two got together, but sometimes we do have to call these situations like we see them … and that is precisely where we see things at present. They faced an ultimatum at work on tonight’s episode, and moving into the installment next week, we could be seeing her trying to take her life in another direction.
“Follow the Money” is the title for this particular episode, and in addition to some relationship problems, we’re also going to see the latest developments in the complicated Normandy Parker case to along with even more trouble from Siletti. After all, this is a guy whose problems never quite seem to end. The synopsis below offers up a few more clues:
“The murder of a prime suspect in the Normandy Parker case seems to prove Terry’s conspiracy theory. Siletti’s fragile peace with his family is upended by a ruinous civil lawsuit compounding his legal troubles. And Hildy goes on a date in an attempt to move on from Terry.”
What we do really like about this season structurally, at least so far, is that we are basically seeing stack on top of each other. We’ve had a chance to see some developments surface that are certainly interesting, but every time you think you are closer to a resolution, something else comes and messes that up. It adds to the excitement, and at the same time probably the frustration of many characters.
