‘Big Brother 18’ episode 12 review: Tiffany Rousso versus the world
When it comes to strategy, it’s hard to say that there were many great players on Sunday night’s new episode of “Big Brother.” Yet, at the same time, it was hard to deny the entertainment value of it all.
Really, Tiffany made one of the only moves that she could probably make in this episode, at least in terms of how she could stay off the block. The moment that Paulie won Head of Household, she was toast since he was convinced 100% that she was actually Vanessa Rousso in disguise. Therefore, she had to go “free agent” to try to get something going, and that included working with Frank. The only other move she had was to lay low, which could’ve bought her another few weeks but wouldn’t get her to the end.
As for Da’Vonne, Frank, Nicole, and everyone else, they all just lost their minds keeping track of all of the various lies and “he said, she said.” We already saw some of the fights, but it was nice to have people explain some of their choices and the game that they’ve been playing. For example, Nicole made it clear why she’s been lying to Frank, and Day differentiated herself from the “Big Brother 17” counterpart.
If you watched the feeds, you know the results of the episode: Tiffany and Natalie were nominated by Paulie, and after winning the Roadkill, Tiffany opted to nominate Corey to get back at the Head of Household. This competition was about as disgusting and low-grade as CBS has aired since the “Two and a Half Men” series finale. Also, it was a total dig at Austin, which was kind of funny given how much he thought America loved him last year.
As a whole, this was a pretty fun episode, and to go along with that, we’ll at least say it was a fairly faithful retelling of events from the live feeds. Grade: B+.
