‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Can someone save Aramis from Grimaud?
For much of this weekend’s new episode of “The Musketeers,” one of the primary focuses of the drama was on the search for Grimaud, a man who has clearly shown himself to be a rather terrible snake. The good news is that the character has been found, but that is really the only good news at present. After all, Aramis has been kidnapped, the Queen is in some danger, and the remaining Musketeers have to find a way to restore order. It is going to become very clear that lives are in jeopardy, and there could even be some sort of a struggle for the throne.
This next episode will come on BBC One at the show’s normal time of 8:30 p.m., and you can see the synopsis below for some further information:
“Aramis and the Queen’s attempts to broker peace with the Spanish go disastrously wrong after Grimaud kidnaps Aramis in a bid to seal an alliance with the influential Duke of Lorraine. Grimaud’s demands threaten to ruin the Queen, placing the Musketeers in an impossible situation as they battle to salvage her reputation and rescue Aramis – all while d’Artagnan’s family ties threaten to derail the mission. As the King’s health goes into spectacular decline and a troublemaker returns to lay claim to Athos, Sylvie becomes a casualty of the ruthless power struggle enveloping Paris.”
Hopefully, we’re not talking about a literal casualty when it comes to Sylvie, given the fact that it would be a rather dramatic spoiler for the show to give away in advance. We’ll have some more news on this episode leading up to it airing, so stay tuned!
