‘The Bachelorette’: Aaron Rodgers stays silent on brother Jordan on ‘Any Given Wednesday’
We have to be honest: We’re not a huge sports fan these days. With that in mind, we probably wouldn’t have even had Bill Simmons’ “Any Given Wednesday” on our radar were it not for “The Bachelorette.”
If you’ve missed it and/or been living under a rock for a while, Aaron’s brother Jordan is on “The Bachelorette.” It’s also no secret that Jordan has touched on a rocky relationship between the two on the show and in interviews. The Green Bay Packers star has never addressed it publicly, and with that, we did wonder if that was going to come up during Simmons’ interview. Given how tapped-in he is when it comes to Bachelor Nation, we thought for sure it’d happen.
Alas, it didn’t. It wasn’t asked about in the version of the show that made it to air. Was this disappointing? Definitely, and this suggests to us one thing more so than anything else: He’s probably never going to talk about it, and we go get that. Whatever happened between these two guys is a family thing, and he may not want to deal with that in front of everyone. Maybe Jordan really didn’t want to talk about it either on the show, but hey, it can’t be avoided. If you’re on this show, of course the producers are going to want to get this story from you! If they don’t, they’ll probably be questioning why they even cast you in the first place.
Unfortunately for Jordan, this story when it comes to Aaron’s far from over. After all, the hometown dates with JoJo Fletcher will be coming Monday night, and we’ve already seen evidence from previews that it’s coming up.
