‘Quantico’ season 2 spoilers: Pearl Thusi signs up as series regular

The second season of “Quantico” has many priorities, but we’re not surprised that one of them is finding way to introduce a few new faces into the world here and there. After all, the show did lose some regulars going into season 2, and they had to find a way to introduce new ones.

With that in mind, may we introduce you to Pearl Thusi! According to a new report coming in right now from Deadline, the South African actress, who has appeared on a variety of different programs overseas, will be a regular here in the role of Dayana Mampasi, a hyper-intelligent attorney who graduated from the top of her class at Harvard. She works at her parents’ law firm, but still struggles when it comes to finding her place despite having what on paper seems like a really wonderful life.

How Thusi fits in with the rest of the cast remains to be seen, given that in some ways we are seeing the cast splinter off moving into the new episodes. For example, we are going to have a chance to see how Alex Parrish potentially fits in with a new organization after transferring over to the CIA. There are many new faces that will surface beyond Thusi, and one of those is going to be none other than the amazing Blair Underwood.

Still, we imagine that these two will not be the only new additions who turn up over the course of this season. Stay tuned, since we’ll have more whenever they are announced!
