‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: First look at Kid Flash!

You better get ready: Kid Flash is coming very soon to “The Flash“!

If you look below, you can see a full look at Keiynan Lonsdale a.k.a. Wally West as this incarnation of the famed character. Ever since he was first cast on the show, there were questions regarding just when Kid Flash was going to show up. The hope was obviously sooner rather than later, but the way in which we’re about to see him doesn’t exactly guarantee that he will be a speedster for very long. After all, it is possible that he is just the version of The Flash during the Flashpoint arc, which would be interesting … albeit a departure from the comic books, given that in this world it was Citizen Cold who was the primary hero of Central City.

Regardless of that, the show’s always done its own thing and been more than fine with it. We do like the costume, since it really seems to be a nice combination of many other Flash characters we’ve seen, whether it be Barry Allen, Harrison Wells, and even to a certain extent Jay Garrick. For Lonsdale in particular, this has to be fun to take on.

Questions remain about whether or not Kid Flash will end up becoming a reality aside from Flashpoint, given what happened to Wally and Jesse at the end of season 2. That was enough to lead many to speculate that in due time, both could become speedsters in their own way.
