‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 3 video: Callie gets advice on ‘rumors’

It has been a while since “The Fosters” aired a new episode on Freeform, but come Monday night, the show will be back. Not only that, but they will also touch on some stories that were overshadowed by the crisis with Mariana and Nick.

One of the biggest ones clearly was Callie and Brandon’s big reveal, and the reaction that has come out of that. There has been plenty of online bullying, and in the sneak peek below, Stef and Lena advise her against acting out. Callie seems moderately receptive to the advice, but almost indifferent about the whole situation. The character is clearly frustrated about the state of things in her life in general. She has the public scrutiny, and aftereffects of the situation with Mariana, and also her own feelings for Brandon to contend with. All to this his decision to move out to go live with Cortney and her child. He’s taking big steps forward, and their relationship is changing once more.

Do we think Callie will figure things out for herself? She always seems to. What we are looking at here is mostly a timing issue for her to figure out when some of the scrutiny will stop, and life becomes somewhat normal again. It’s almost something she has never had over the course of her entire life; she has constantly been in a state of flux, which is why the concept of a home in particular is so important to her.
