Is ‘The Bachelorette’ new tonight? A look at JoJo Fletcher’s future with Jordan Rodgers, others

There may not be a season of “The Bachelorette” that has been rattled more with schedule tweaks than this one. Last month, the reality show on ABC had to take a night off in order to accommodate the NBA Finals; this time around, it is simply because of a holiday.

What was especially weird about what the network did this time around is that it seemed to have a really hard time making up its mind in terms of whether to air a new episode this week or not. Not long after this past episode ended, it wasn’t really that clear as to if we were getting a new installment on the Fourth or not; after all, there were still plans to air a new “Mistresses.” However, that changed courtesy of Chris Harrison announcing that this would be a repeat.

Ultimately, it’s really hard to fault ABC for this decision when they otherwise probably would have lost a significant chunk of change. Just remember for a minute here that the ratings would go down, and that could adversely impact the rest of the season.

If you haven’t seen the promo below, it’ll at least give you a pretty good idea as to what is coming up the remainder of the season. JoJo Fletcher has some big one-on-one dates coming up still, including with the likes of Jordan Rodgers, Alex Woytkiw, and Luke Pell. At the end of the episode she should have her field of four men set for hometown dates.
