‘Ray Donovan’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Is trouble hitting Ray at home?

The fourth season of “Ray Donovan” is going strong creatively, and it is wasting all no time at all when it comes to doing one thing more so than anything else: Putting Ray and his family in serious danger. We could see some of this on the next new episode entitled “Little Bill Primm’s Big Green Horseshoe,” as that is something that the short synopsis via TV Guide makes clear:

“An intruder breaks into the Donovan household; Mickey plots a casino heist; Bridget celebrates her 18th birthday and struggles to maintain her independence; Ray visits Belikov in prison to strike a deal; Bunchy and Teresa navigate their marital woes under lockdown.”

If there is one person that you should be worried about at the moment, isn’t it really Bridget? She’s only 18 years old, and has already been through hell and back; also, go ahead and remind yourself in the process that she is a very easy emotional target for people against Ray to go after. The more that there are intruders or bad people around her, the worse off it will be for her. That part of this at least seems firmly set in stone.

As for martial woes, well we’ll just see what happens when it comes to Bunchy and Teresa. This is the sort of thing that never is altogether stable in this world, and could turn on a dime several more times before making it to the end.
