‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 3 video: A surprise return

Is there a future in store for Emily and Sabrina on “Pretty Little Liars” this season? We know that the two have a history together, and we also know that Emily has been trying to get her life going in a better direction again.

However, the sneak peek below does not make it appear as though these two are going to be going out to dinner together just yet. Sabrina specifically tells Emily that the whole business with Ezra and the key left a bad taste in her mouth, and that’s something that, as much as it stinks for Emily to hear, we appreciate being addressed. This show is acknowledging something that many other programs out there are afraid to, and that is the fact that in the real world, these sort of conflicts do linger and people don’t just get over things because some time has passed.

In the end, Emily’s love life does remain a little bit of an enigma, and it remains to be seen precisely just how this story is going to end for her. While there are feelings that are there between her and Alison, at the same exact time Ali is not really in a position right now to think about romance. Also, we do know that at some point this season Paige is going to return, and there will be a chance for her to revisit at least something there. We’ll hopefully get a further sense over the course of the days ahead.
