‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 3 spoilers: Who could be challenging Annalise next?

Sure, the third season of “How to Get Away with Murder” may not premiere on ABC until we get around to the fall, but why that long to get some of the latest casting news?

While we don’t have an actor to announce, we can at least tell you the following: According to a report from TVLine, the show is getting set to sign an actor to play the “friendly and warm” president of a university, a role that makes us think it will be the same one in which Annalise Keating works at (this is what we are hoping for at least). There are certainly plenty of reasons for the university to look into some of her methods, especially when you think for a moment about everything that she has done since the beginning of the series.

Ultimately, though, it’s really far too early to project what the role of this character could be, given that the odds are that we could end up seeing them involved in some sort of case or at least get roped into one. This is a show with a nature for complications, and mixing it up halfway through. It’s one of the many reasons we are addicted to this show.

The second season of the show wrapped up with a shocking death that is going to hit Wes close to home, while at the same time the Hapstall case finally came to a close in its own right with some stunning confessions. We’ll have more news soon, so be sure to check back to the CarterMatt site often.
