‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 1 video: Watch the first two minutes now!

The season premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” is coming your way on Tuesday night, and based on the first two minutes of it below, there is going to be a lot that unfolds over the course of the night.

If you’ve seen any preview for the show so far, you know one thing to be true more so than anything else: Hanna is in danger, and it is going to be up to the rest of the Liars to figure out how to rescue her … and also who could be responsible for her abduction in the first place. Toby has a chance to meet Mary Drake, which he does as a police officer to further raise his own profile and potentially intimidate her ever so slightly. Unfortunately for him, that doesn’t quite work.

The reality here is that Mary seems immediately suspicious to the Liars for many reasons, but all of them ultimately have a hard time trying to pin her down precisely in terms of what sort of person she is and what she plans on doing. This could prove to be her M.O. most of the final season; we’ve certainly seen situations on this show where nobody knows who the perpetrator is, so what happens if you have a strong-to-the-point-of-being secure suspect and no real way to take them down? That would be really interesting to see unfold.
