‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 4 preview: ‘Girl Meets Permanent Record’ and questions
Tonight, “Girl Meets World” is airing an episode entitled “Girl Meets Jaxica” that in so many ways is going to revolve around identity in the present. In looking more towards the future, we’re going to have an episode next week in “Girl Meets World” that will focus on how Riley’s actions now could impact her years down the line.
The title here is “Girl Meets Permanent Record,” and the synopsis below gives you a good sense as to what you can expect to see:
“After receiving a bad grade, Riley realizes high school scores count toward her permanent record.”
A better way to probably sum this up, at least per our own school experiences, is that what you do in high school in terms of your grades is looked by colleges down the road. If you want to get into the school of your dreams, you want to get the best scores that you possibly can. The same goes for your SATs. It may be a lot of work, but it helps to further ensure that you have a chance to have flexibility down the road.
We understand why all of this would stress Riley out, since it certainly stressed us out at times, as well; if the show wanted to tell a story that is true to life, we figure that their mission will be accomplished over the course of this hour. We will have some further news to share on the subject of the show over the weekend, and that should offer more insight into what to expect.
