‘Doctor Who’ season 10: Michelle Gomez reportedly returning

Doctor Who -For those of you looking for a touch of further mastery on “Doctor Who” season 10, the following definitely has to be music to your ears: Michelle Gomez is going to be coming back on the show!

Per the tweet below (which comes via MegaCon in Orlando), we are going to see more of Missy on the BBC series moving forward! What’s not to like? She is an extremely fascinating character, and she brings something to the table and the world of this show that is different than any other who has played the Master before her. Basically, she brings some new wrinkles and her personality to the world.

Unfortunately, you’re still going to be waiting for a rather-long time in order to see season 10 play out in full. It’s probably not going to premiere until we roll around to 2017, and while we are getting a Christmas Special later this year, it’s more than likely going to be something isolated featuring a different Companion than Pearl Mackie, who is currently slated to take over the helm in the new year.

As for Peter Capaldi, of course he will be back! Peter will remain The Doctor for at least one more season of the show; his future beyond that is unclear, and we’re not going to speculate about it too much. What we also know is that the upcoming tenth season is going to be the last for Steven Moffat as showrunner; he will be replaced by Chris Chibnall, so that plan is already in place.
