‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7 and … zombies?
Zombies are everywhere right now. After all, we’ve got “The Walking Dead” on the air, “Fear the Walking Dead,” and then a wide array of other movies / TV shows that in one way or another seem to be pushing the mythology of these creatures on in some shape or form.
So why not have a show like “Rizzoli & Isles” continue to carry the torch in some way? What we’ve had a chance to see in the synopsis below for the upcoming June 13 installment “Cops vs. Zombies” is that we’re going to have quite possibly one of the more entertaining installments of the year. Sure, the zombies probably aren’t real in this world, but we figure that there will still be some fun that comes from investigating a murder at a zombie convention:
“The team works on behalf of the dead – and the undead – after a murder at a zombie convention. Angela decides to pursue her GED after revealing that she never graduated from high school.”
We would presume that one of the aspects of this case in particular that could make it hard on Rizzoli as an investigator is figuring out precisely how in the world she is going to find a killer when so many suspects are more or less zombies. What makes one of them stand out from the others? Basically, we have a feeling that this could easily turn into a game of “Where’s Waldo” as we watch the investigators do their work. It’ll be rough for them, but fun for us as a viewer.
