‘Ink Master’ season 7 finale preview: Should Anthony Michaels, Cleen Rock One, or Christian Buckingham win?
The live finale for “Ink Master” season 7 is only a day away from airing on Spike, and there can only be one winner from the three remaining contestants. The season was billed as being a battle between new and returning contestants, and with that, we cannot be that shocked that two newbies in Anthony Michaels and Christian Buckingham are in the final three alongside the returning Cleen Rock One, appearing in his second finale for the show.
So where do we think these three contenders stacking up? Read on to find out…
Christian – As of right now, we feel like he has the toughest road to the title. The viewers do have a certain degree of control in putting someone into the final two, and we think of the remaining contestants, he may have the smallest overall pool of fans because of his extremely-aggressive gameplay. He’s an incredible artist, though, and will have to rely on that to be declared the winner. We do think that him winning would be a good story, given that he has been extremely present from start to finish.
Cleen – He has built a loyal following over the course of two seasons, and has done some really strong work. However, he’s had some close calls throughout the season, and maybe there’d be a few people huffing and puffing over him winning despite him not being there the first week. Still, it’d be far better than someone like James Vaughn winning despite being absent for half the season. The twist produced some drama, but it really would’ve been better to have everyone there from the start.
Anthony – Probably our personal pick, and maybe also that of many viewers at home. He’s the underdog in that he has the smallest amount of experience, but he’s produced incredible work and with a few exceptions, has been incredibly strong throughout the season. He’s probably going to have an edge getting into that final two, and if he makes it there, maybe it’ll be hard for the judges to shy away from crowning someone who is so likable and a good representative of the journey.
