‘Shark Tank’ video: Will PMS Bites make a huge impact?

The idea that we are writing about a “Shark Tank” product today entitled PMS Bites is definitely not something that we ever anticipated, mostly because the idea honestly never crossed our mind in a million years that an entrepreneur would create something designed to be a tasty and fulfilling alternative for people out there who are suffering from symptoms that impact millions of women all over the world.

Yet, here we are! The pitch below does a good job of giving the Sharks the necessary information regarding what the snacks do, and also how widespread the issue is that they are trying to treat. There’s also a little bit of humor in here, which is necessary given the name of the product.

Of course, in going back to the name “PMS Bites,” there are some risks. We wonder still if there will be some people out there turned off by it. It’s a catch-22, since there are other people who may find it somewhat kitschy, and will buy some as a prank gift even for other people. Ironically, it could still help them, and they could but some for themselves.

Since we’re really not in much of a position to judge as to whether or not this is a good idea, we’ll leave this one to the Sharks. It really could just come down to what the sales are, how quickly they can make big profits, and also their experience in similar spaces. Do you market this as a treat, or as something with health benefits? There are a few different things at play here.
