‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 finale spoilers: ‘An Untold Story’ and the search for Henry
We’ve already lost one major character in Robin Hood on “Once Upon a Time” this season, so isn’t it possible that we could see someone else in danger, as well? The show is not above creating this level of stakes for many of its characters, and the synopsis below for Sunday’s finale “An Untold Story” certainly signals that some more danger is going to be coming.
Before we do anything else, a reminder that this episode is actually the second of two episodes that are airing on the night. You can get the synopsis for the first part of the finale, entitled “Only You,” over here. Now, let’s go ahead and give you the finale synopsis below, where there are a plethora of details in terms of what you can expect:
“In the second hour, with the possibility of magic being destroyed and the fate of Storybrooke hanging in the balance, it’s a race for Emma and Regina to track down Henry before Gold can find him first. Regina continues to struggle with her frustrations over her former evil-self and, elsewhere, Snow, David, Hook and Zelena are imprisoned and must contend with very two very disturbed individuals that may give Gold a run for his money.”
What’s interesting about this synopsis to us is mostly that ABC really managed to tease a lot here, while at the same time not really teasing much of anything at all. It’s quite a remarkable ability that they have! The biggest mystery of the finale is not so much what’s happening to the characters; it’s where they are while this action is taking place. Expect hints aplenty regarding what the fifth season could be.
