‘Faking It’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Amy meets Sabrina’s … boyfriend?

Given that the title of “Faking It” is what it is, you do have to assume that at various points, there are going to be characters that embody that in some way. This time around, it appears as though this character is Sabrina. At the end of this past episode, she and Amy kissed; however, at this point it is starting to look even more like it is all a ruse, designed mostly to get Amy close and take her away from Karma.

In turn, Amy could feel a little bit of heartache once she starts to realize that Sabrina may have actually had a boyfriend this whole time. In the preview that aired following this past episode of the show, this is what we saw courtesy of the guy showing up and announcing himself as such. Meanwhile, there could be an attempt by Liam to get his new roommate Lauren a date, which is reflected in the attached synopsis:

“Karma looks for evidence to use against Sabrina, who’s growing closer to Amy; Liam tries to set up Lauren; and Shane seeks advice.”

As for how Karma could end up trying to expose her former camp frenemy, the promo made it appeared as though she would try phone-hacking first and foremost; if that doesn’t work, who knows? Maybe she’s the one who got the boyfriend to show up, and if that’s the case there could be other problems ahead for Karma and Amy’s already-fragile friendship.
