‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Does Vox Fortis bring anything different to the show?
The vocal group is the sort of act that we have seen on “Britain’s Got Talent” so many times over the years, and many of them have done very well. Just take a look at Collabro! These are acts that are easy to distinguish, and they are almost always possible with voters.
With that in mind, we have to think that Vox Fortis is going to be very impressive to the judges, even if their name sounds more like a college insignia than a group of five guys singing. They all have really strong, powerful voices, and with a little bit of training, they could be the sort of group who sells a heck of a lot of records after the end of the show.
While we like them, we do think at the moment that they have a wide array of different things to work on. First and foremost, they need to bump up their stage presence. They are a little bit bland when it comes to their stage presence, and we suggest that they choose some songs that have a greater sense of familiarity. They certainly have the look of stars in the making, so if they make it to the live shows they’re going to get a chance to really shine under that big stage with all of the power and the production of the show behind them.
Stay tuned, as we plan to have so much more news when it comes to this episode this weekend! That will include a full review, where we take on every successful act individually to examine what worked and what didn’t.
