‘The 100’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Allegiant’ actress signs up for mystery role

As we near the end of “The 100” season 3, it appears as though there’s going to be more and more mystery regarding some elements of the story. Unfortunately, we cannot offer up too much clarity in this article beyond a name.

According to TheWrap, actress Nadia Hilker (“Allegiant”) has been cast for two episodes on the this season in a mystery role; the only thing close to confirmed is that she will be playing a Grounder. The site speculates that it could be Luna, someone who has been mentioned on the show for some time and never seen.

Given that this is described as an important role for the series, we do wonder if this is someone who could also turn up in the fourth season. Given all of the death that has happened so far this season and the possible deaths that are still to come (we’re just assuming, given the landscape of this show), there could be room for some new characters to enter the world in the long-term. It’s probably a little early to start speculating on that, but it’s hard not to since we know the show already has that season 4 renewal.

There are still several episodes still to come this season, so with that, who knows where the journey for Clarke and some other main characters is going to go? For now, we just hope for their survival, and that there are some interesting new wrinkles to the mythology that set things up the remainder of the story in an interesting ways.
