‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 13 preview: Could Vandal Savage’s daughter be key in his undoing?
This season, “Legends of Tomorrow” has delivered a story all about traveling through time in order to defeat Vandal Savage. With that in mind, it’s fairly ironic that the best way to take the villain down once and for all could actually be by visiting the villain when he would be, at least in theory, the most invincible.
As the synopsis below for next week’s all-new episode “Leviathan” reveals, we’re going a good 150 years into the future to learn a thing or two more about the Legends trying to figure out how Savage’s daughter could actually end up being the key to ensuring that the world is changed once and for all … and that the future is preserved to go along with it:
“Rip (Arthur Darvill) takes the team to London in the year 2166, three months before his family is killed. He believes this to be their final opportunity to take out Savage (Casper Crump) who is, unfortunately, at the height of his power. However, the team discovers two key elements to defeating him – Savage’s daughter (guest star Jessica Sipos) and the means to kill Savage once and for all.”
Of course, what we do wonder is this: If Savage is stopped in the future, then what does this mean about all of the time between now and then? Sure, there would be a chance for the world to begin, but this means that much of the chaos that originally took place in the future timeline would still happen, and there is little that the team can do about it.
