‘Agents of SHIELD’ spin-off ‘Marvel’s Most Wanted’ currently projecting well for series order

Agents -

We’re now past pilot season in turns of networks casting up some of their potential shows, and with that, we’ve moved into the part that actors and crew members all over the country get a little nervous about: Decision time. Footage will be starting to come in to the networks (at least for the pilots that are done; some are still filming), and executives make their decisions based on everything from market trends to casts to overall quality to franchises.

In many cases, the latter can be especially beneficial … which is looking like it is the case at present with the “Agents of SHIELD” spin-off entitled “Marvel’s Most Wanted.” According to a new report from Deadline, this show is really charting strongly at the moment for a series pickup. The main reason that this is so intriguing is because the flagship show is floundering in the ratings, so it is somewhat surprising that there would be that much interest. Luckily, Marvel and ABC / Disney have that great relationship, and we’re glad that there is a continued effort to keep Marvel programming on there since we do like the “Most Wanted” premise.

Speaking of spin-offs, the site also reports that “Chicago Justice” is considered a mere lock for pickup, even though the backdoor pilot has yet to even air on NBC and will not until next month. This is just a case of a show that probably would not have been ordered if interest was not there. Ultimately, you can expect some firm decisions come May.
