‘Bones’ season 11, episode 11 video: Hodgins returns to work … quickly

On Thursday night, “Bones” is resuming season 11 with an episode that has been a long time coming. After all, we’re going to see the first episode of 2016, and with that, the return of Hodgins to the Jeffersonian!

In the sneak peek below, you can see the Hodgins come into the Jeffersonian in a wheelchair, where he is intent on helping Brennan and the rest of the team on their latest case. Is he there a little earlier than he should be? It definitely seems to be that way based on how Angela reacts to the news about him already being back at work. It turns out that he is in fact super-helpful (as he usually is), but at the same time you do have to wonder if he should be a little bit more patient … though we’re sure that this had to be a really tough transition for him.

We imagine that for the next few episodes in particular, seeing the journey for Hodgins is going to be top priority, as well as seeing the implications that his injury could have on his relationship and his work. Angela’s as supportive as someone can be, but there will be changes as he tries to see what the future holds for him.

Of course, we’ll have some further coverage of all things “Bones” as we get further and further into this season! One of the good things about the show returning so late (it may be the only good thing) is that there are so many episodes still left to air.
