‘Billions’ season 2: Premiere date speculation for Paul Giamatti – Damian Lewis drama

Tonight, the complicated world of “Billions” is going to be coming to a close on Showtime, and with that, we’re left more or less wondering the answer to one simple question: When is the series coming back?

The first thing that we can assure you of is that it is coming back. After the drama starring Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti earned some impressive ratings right out the gate, it was renewed by the network for another season. They didn’t want to waste their time, and they also knew that they wanted as many viewers as possible to believe that this was something that they were sticking with. One of the biggest fears anytime you start to get into a new series is that someone is going to come and pull the rug out from under you.

As for when this new series will premiere, nothing is official yet but we would not be surprised to see it return in January once more. This timeslot clearly served the series well, and it was also able to avoid the terrible competition that was put out there by “The Walking Dead.” This could be a good spot for it to continue to get good ratings, and build towards a run that could last for many more years to come.

Hopefully, once the finale is over, we’re going to have a little bit of a better idea as to precisely what to expect from the future. Stay tuned…
