‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2 spoilers: Is there even more danger at sea?
Sunday night may not have a new episode of “The Walking Dead” for the first time in months, but there is another show coming up that gives you plenty of reasons of its own to be excited: “Fear the Walking Dead.” If you love zombies and everything that inevitably comes along with them, then there a whole lot to like about this show. While you may think that there would be fewer walkers at sea than there are on land, you may be surprised…
For some more on this, just check out what Alycia Debnam-Carey (Alicia) had to say to Comic Book Resources on the subject:
“I was surprised to see how much danger and threat there was on sea — it’s as much as there was on land. I think [the characters] are surprised by that, too. The boat has given them a sanctuary — it’s got water, they have food. It’s got potential, but the threat is still very real. They start to discover that as the episodes go on.”
One thing that has definitely started to make itself clear is that the first few episodes of the new season may be exceptionally more violent in terms of zombie action than season 1. Based on some early teases, it is like someone at AMC heard the outcry for more violence and a faster pace, and are trying to crank things up on the spin-off this time around. Will this work out, or will the show just become more like “The Walking Dead”? What we’ve liked about this show is that they have been trying to give it a new voice, without just being “The Walking Dead”, but with a new group of people.
