ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 18 preview: Kerry Washington, Scott Foley, and ‘Til Death Do Us Part’

The bad news that we have when it comes to “Scandal” right now is that there is going to be a little bit of a wait to see the next new episode of the show air. Due to “Grey’s Anatomy” being a little bit behind where they need to be in order for it to air on time, it’s going to be doubling up on new episodes next week. Meanwhile, at the same time the Kerry Washington series is going to be in repeats.

When the story does return on April 21, it will be doing so with an episode entitled “Til Death do Us Part.” Pretty much anytime that we get a story with this title, we know that there are going to be some crazy things coming up. The synopsis below makes it clear that Olivia Pope is going to have quite a bit on her plate; meanwhile, there’s also going to be a big story for Scott Foley’s Jake to go along with it:

“As Olivia deals with the aftermath of what she’s done, she finally finds out what exactly Jake and Rowan are plotting. But with their plans already in motion, Olivia is forced to make a gut-wrenching attempt to try and stop it. Meanwhile, in flashbacks, we learn more about Jake’s past and how he first got involved with B6-13.”

Hopefully, we’ll have some other news on this episode over the course of the coming days, but for now we’ll just say this as a teaser: Expect some big things.
