Is ‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 22 new tonight on CBS?

We’ve seen the team on “Scorpion” go through quite a bit over the course of season 2. They’ve donned comic-book costumes, experienced below-freezing temperatures, and also seen some of their relationships evolve. (Specifically, we’re looking at you, Happy and Toby!)

Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait at least one more week to see how the story ends. There is no new installment airing on CBS Monday night, as the network for some reason opted that tonight was a good time to embark on a brief hiatus. There will be a new installment next week entitled “Hard Knox” all about the team heading to Fort Knox, and after that there will be an episode on April 18 featuring Chernobyl. The finale is set for April 25, but there is not too much news out there about it just yet.

Will this change over the next week or so? Probably, and we know for certain that there are a pair of different things we’d like to see over the course of the finale.

1. Some sort of huge, explosive case. Given that this is the last time we’ll see the show since late September / early October, why not go out with a bang? This show is great in part because of the way in which it goes hard during action sequences.

2. Some sort of movement on Walter and Paige. Everyone seems to think that it’s going to happen eventually, so if there are some organic moments ahead to push the two characters further together, why not go for them?
