‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: Sylvester, Paige land in danger during penultimate episode

It may be somewhat crazy to think given that we are still in the month of March, but there are only three installments left of “Scorpion” this season. For anyone who has followed this story in a devoted way, that is definitely a bummer.

With that being said, we’re getting more and more of a sense that as we start to wind things down for the season, we’re going to be doing so with some episodes that are more eventful and action-packed than ever before. Want some other evidence of that? Then just take a look at the first details on “Chernobyl Intentions,” the upcoming April 18 installment that also proves precisely how much this show loves puns:

“Team Scorpion goes to Chernobyl to repair the decaying nuclear reactor before a catastrophic meltdown, but must also save Sylvester and Paige when they become trapped inside.”

It is too early to tell whether or not this story will blend into the finale, but we do tend to like it when there is some sort of event to try to close things off at the end of the season with a long-form story. There are also many significant stories that could use a larger resolution, whether it be the state of things for Walter and Paige to seeing if Toby and Happy make any big moves before the finale. Also, there’s the simple matter of the long-term status of Team Scorpion, and if the group is happy to keep doing this.
