‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ spoilers: Latin night coming for Kim Fields, Nyle DiMarco, cast

The first week of “Dancing with the Stars” is ultimately a week without a theme. Ultimately, they have to spend a little bit of time allowing you to get to know some of the dancers taking part in the show this season, and trying to inject some sort of other gimmick into the mix complicates things a little bit.

So what is the theme for Monday night’s new episode? Think along the lines of Latin night. There’ll be many fast-paced and fun routines as a result of that, as some more people are going to get a chance to take on everything from the salsa to the samba, the cha-cha-cha, the paso doble, the rumba, and the Argentine tango. We’re going to get more into who is being paired with what style over the weekend, but we imagine that some dancers will have more problems than others.

Through one week, the obvious contenders appear to be Nyle DiMarco, Von Miller, and Paige VanSant, with Kim Fields and Ginger Zee being two of the bigger surprises. We’re still at the point, though, where there could be some sort of ebb and flow; it’s certainly possible that a few of these people could’ve gotten lucky once, so that is just something that we have to prepare for.

For the time being, our biggest advice to you is to stay tuned, given that we’re going to have some further updates on all things related to “Dancing with the Stars” as soon as they come out. That’ll include the first edition of our contestant rankings this season over the weekend.
