‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 7 preview: Cue merge time
We’ve got eleven players now remaining on “Survivor: Kaoh Rong,” and luckily the producers have decided that now is the best time to start to make things a little crazier. The merge is here!
Let’s start with the bad news: Jason and Scot are back together, which is kind of a bummer since we liked Scot a lot more when Tai was his right-hand man. Jason talked about throwing geeks into lockers in the preview that aired after tonight’s episode, and we’re having a hard time sussing out if this is the show setting him up for a fall, or signifying more that he is a big character. We do at least think that there are people coming after Jason, so he could be one target right away if he doesn’t play his idol.
As for who some of the others are, we have to look at the whole contingent of Brains now since they are four strong, and we already know that this group works together. If everyone rallies against them, that could be dangerous and they only have a few more votes in order to make that happen. Meanwhile, another interesting target here could be Nick, given that we don’t think there is really anyone in this game who necessarily wants to go to the end with him. He and Peter have been competing all season long for the title of “most arrogant player in the game,” and he and Michele have accomplished the rare feat of not going to tribal council at all before the merge. Therefore, they’re really not too battle-tested.
All in all, we’re predicting a crazy next few days given that we’ve got so many different dynamics, and above all three largely-even tribes going into the next phase. This is going to be nuts.
