‘Faking It’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Karma, Amy struggle to break the ice
If there is one word that we could use at the moment to describe the relationship between Karma and Amy on “Faking It,” this would be it: Uncomfortable. These two don’t quite know how to be friends at the moment, and it could ultimately take some time for them to figure it out.
In the sneak peek below, you can see Shane come up with a plan to try to get the two characters to spend a little bit more time together, but it ends up devolving into the two women just repeating the word “so” back and forth to one another while getting increasingly angry. We think, though, that Shane is right: Clearly, Amy and Karma do still want to be friends. The problem here is that neither one of them wants to admit that they are in the wrong. To an extent Amy was cold in the way she left for the summer, but at the same time Karma wasn’t understanding. They both have proven themselves imperfect.
In the end, Lauren is mostly right here in that this is not exactly the sort of thing that is going to be resolved easily. It’s going to take some time, so we all should probably just go ahead and be prepared for that. Eventually, we do think that they will be in one another’s good graces, but it’ll more than likely take a little bit of time to get us there.
We’ll be back tomorrow with more from this episode…
